Immigration Human Resource Service

Manpowered by GAL

The proposed solution is to help alleviate manpower requirements and the increasing salary of the aerospace work force in the local market by using the various immigration programs available.

  • Resources can be sourced from several countries, including but not limited to Mexico, Canada, U.S.A, Colombia, Peru and Chile by GAL and presented to client for initial review.
  • Candidates will be under GAL payroll for one year once landed in the country.
  • Employee can stay with GAL for unlimited amount of time or be transferred to client payroll at the end of the year at no additional cost from GAL.
  • Implementation process (which includes the visa process) is estimated at +-4 months for Mexico, Canada, USA and Chile and +-6 months for Colombia and Peru.

Candidates profile and selection process

For this program, the focus will be put on the following, but not limited to:

  • Aircraft Mechanics
  • Aircraft Sheetmetal
  • Aircraft Avionics
  • Engineering
  • Administration

Candidates will follow a rigorous interview program which consists of:

  • English test
  • Skills test
  • Basic Interviews questionnaire
  • Psychometric test
  • Background check
  • Local hands-on testing for Avionics and Sheetmetal

All data will be available for review by client.

Cost estimate

The proposed pay scale is in accordance with basic industry standard.
  • An incentive in the form of a salary increase will be given if the candidates get their FAA A&P License during the first year.
  • GAL is affiliated with an Aerospace training company that can offer on-type training and license training to assist candidates in obtaining their license and on-type certification.
    • GAL provides A&P training with affiliated schools.
    • The process can take several months, including the on-line preparation, the “on the job” training, and the preparation to take the tests and interviews.
    • Online Training is performed after hours while employee works with client so there is no impact on hours worked during the week.
  • GAL can adapt pay scales to match the client’s rate so there is no difference in pay for the candidate compared to client employee limiting conflict increasing candidate retention and simplifying candidates transfer if this option is selected.
